Tahiti & Her Islands Represented at Paris Trekking Fair

Tahiti Tourisme distributed a variety of material during the fair, including brochures, documents and sacks promoting Tahiti & Her Islands. Tahiti Tourisme’s stand, decorated with the colors of the islands, featured a superb waterfall evoking the islands’ nature. The stand was constantly visited, particularly by active seniors seeking “green tourism” destinations and a greater number of people interested in hiking excursions in the Marquesas Islands. Four green tourism professionals from French Polynesia were at the stand to help promote trekking in Tahiti and Her Islands. They represented Tahiti Evasion, Rando Pacific, the Organization of Environmental and Artistic Tourist Operations and Marquesas Rando. They offered a variety of excursions varying in difficulty and length and accompanied by guides, such as ecology tours and Tahitian culture tours. The guides have all been trained in French Polynesia and know their home islands perfectly.
