DAY ONE : You depart charter base and begin your sailing holiday by cruising in the immense lagoon shared by the sister islands of Raiatea and Tahaa.
Savour the reds and yellows of your first tropical sunset & the warm sweet tropical smells of a live pot pourri of flowers. Enjoy the liberty of a meal ashore at a local island restaurant on your first night.

DAY TWO : This morning there’s a great opportunity to visit the local market.  Berth in the marina near the small township of Uturoa. Find the fresh crusty French bread sticks, croissants and French gourmet delights at either of the two well-stocked supermarkets. Meet for coffee or a cold Hinano at the corner café and you’re likely to comment that the chore of shopping was an easy and fun experience.
Take a gentle sail to a motu on the vanilla island of Tahaa, to snorkel and swim or just to relax and enjoy the welcome tropical warmth for the rest of the day. Relish your first warm tropical swim in these magical islands where the water is 2-degrees warmer than the air !

DAY THREE :   Cruise within the lagoon and explore the many beautiful desert island motus in the north.  Visit the black pearl farm and learn about pearl cultivation or simply buy your loved one a unique black pearl.
Visit a vanilla plantation & the interior of Tahaa by 4-wheel The story of vanilla propagation is intriguing and the views from the hinterland spectacular.
If it’s Sunday, you may choose to ride the back of the truck to church with the locals, where there’s a church full of wide brimmed fancy hats, best frocks, playful children, and the most resonant singing you’ll hear, full of the gusto and joy.

DAY FOUR :  Slip your mooring for the downwind sail to Bora Bora … the fabled island where they make movies. Making landfall is an occasion to remember.  A large gentle indigo sea spills over the reef into a shallow green lagoon, which grows a darker shade of turquoise as it deepens beyond.  The magnificent rock of Bora Bora frames the skyline.
Anchor and enjoy lunch on board as you admire yet another version of paradise.
Later in the afternoon pick up a mooring in front of the Bora Bora Yacht Club.  Enjoy a sunset cocktail on the deck and meet others from all over the world with a fascination for cruising.

DAY FIVE :   Breakfast on board or enjoy a French affair of coffee and fresh croissants ashore.  Cruise to the Lagoonarium’ in the east. Test your sense of adventure and snorkel with the turtles, rays and sharks within this controlled aquarium.  If you accept the challenge you’ll talk about it for days !

DAY SIX :  Lose yourself in the blues, greens and turquoises of the lagoon. Snorkel the 'Aquarium'  and enjoy the myriad of colourful fish.  Swim, beachcomb, dive windsurf or just simply relax. BBQ aboard under the tropical moonlight.  Relax...... you may just choose to stay here forever !

DAY SEVEN :  Visit the supermarket and boutique shops in the small village of Vaitape.  Feeling energetic  … rent a bicycle, a scooter or a car and circle the island by land.  Stop for refreshments along the way.  Be as busy or relaxed as you choose.

DAY EIGHT :  Depart Bora Bora to return to the peaceful island of Tahaa.  Take a mooring at a local restaurant and dine ashore. Become absorbed in the diaries of hundreds of visiting yachtsmen who have etched their tales & cartoons in the Visitor's Books.   After dinner of barbecued mahi mahi, sing & dance with the locals as their brothers & sisters, their cousins and aunties and uncles & their children gather for a friendly and vivacious sing-a-long.

DAY NINE :   Make your passage to the sacred island of Huahine. Lay anchor outside the village of Fare and wander ashore to explore the waterfront and the roulottes.

Sail down the coast of Huahine to the peaceful anchorage of Baie d’Avea.  Spend the afternoon relaxing in the sun and swimming and snorkelling in the lagoon.  BBQ under the stars.

DAY TEN :  Another day of leisure. You might choose to stay aboard relaxing and swimming or you might choose to rent a car and explore Huahine.

DAY ELEVEN :   Make passage to the south of Raiatea where waterfalls cascade from steep terrain to the sea.  Anchor overnight near motu Nao Nao.   Play cricket with palm nuts on the wartime airstrip and beachcomb the foreshore for ‘treasures’.  BBQ under the stars.

DAY TWELVE :   Cruise back to base, take lunch and relax in the warm tropical sunshine.
Farewell the magical Leeward Islands. Take with you the many fond memories of these friendly tropical isles, each a new version of paradise.
